Master Practitioner Seminars: Masterclass Series

Overview:
Master Practitioner Seminars

Truly a rare opportunity - to watch 6 top UK coaches work with the same client!

John Whitmore, Myles Downey, Gladeana McMahon, Eric Parsloe, Mariette Castellino and Tony Turnbull.

In these recordings each presents their coaching model, then demonstrates their practice with the same very experienced actor role-playing a client who is replicating the same personal dilemmas and business scenario each time.

The ‘client’, a COO of a multinational business handling a new company acquisition, is a character within a well tried and successful business simulation that we use on every Advanced Coaching Programme. The business context is sent to you in advance so you are familiar with the multiple issues facing the character, and was developed to allow the maximum opportunity for each Master coach to take their preferred direction.

This arrangement allows for a clear comparison of styles and methods. Each Master coach brings their unique personality and philosophy to tackle the same situation from a very different perspective, and not surprisingly, reach different actions and outcomes. It brings into question just how much the coachee sets the agenda!

The Master Practitioner Seminars can be attended separately or as a series.

Overview

Who should attend?
These seminars are for coaches practicing at Advanced level with a minimum of 4 years experience.

The core membership is a group of five from the one year Master Practitioner & MA Programme. Fifteen experienced coaches with a clear model and confident style will be able to join for the seminar session and engage in this rich and rewarding debate.

If you wish to be considered for a place please apply online. You will probably be invited to talk through your position if we don't know you. We will give priority to those who wish to attend a series of at least three sessions.

Structure of the Masterclass

All participants receive in advance the recording of the Master coaches model presentation so you are familiar with their approach.

On the day John Leary-Joyce will facilitate the group in reviewing the recording of the coach/client session, stopping and starting as appropriate to engage in a rich discussion around the coaches methodology, personal style and interventions. This allows you to draw a comparison with your own approach and that of the other Master coaches.

In this way you will sharpen your thinking and evaluation skills and gain validation for your own individual style.
