This two-day certificate programme provides
awareness and experience of coaching. It is
designed for organisations who want to equip their
line managers with the skills needed to demonstrate
a more facilitative style and to get the best out
of their people through a balanced use of active
support and constructive challenge.
It is designed for managers with little or no coaching
experience. It can be particularly suited to those
who have been promoted on the basis of technical
expertise or who have otherwise become used to
advising and directing more than delegating and
supporting.
“I have been faced with challenges of dealing with issues associated with the staff members under my areas of jurisdiction especially where they felt they have no answers to particular situations/ problems during the course of their work. Armed with the coaching concept, it has helped me exploit the hidden potential of these people. It is amazing the way the staff provide answers to issues which they carry to you to resolve but end up providing the solutions themselves.”
