Intermediate Coach Programme
A 7-day AEC training programme to develop people
as part-time 1:1 coaches within their organisation.
Who is it for?
Intermediate Coach is for organisations wanting to develop
their capability for in-house coaching.
It is designed for HR professionals and experienced managers
in your organisation who are ready to unlock their coaching
potential and build the skills they need for 1:1 coaching.
What does it deliver?
The programme provides managers with skills and knowledge
that are essential to 1:1 coaching.
By the end of the
programme participants will be able to provide 1:1 coaching
focusing on performance, supporting
people within their organisation to enhance the way they
achieve objectives.
Scope
The programme covers all stages of 1:1 performance coaching
practice, enabling people to
- manage the essential processes
that surround coaching -- agreeing the 'coaching contract'
and managing stakeholders and boundaries
- structure and
deliver 1:1 coaching sessions with requisite skill and
confidence
- understand how to focus outcomes
- know when to coach and
when not to coach
- have a good awareness of how to be objective
- understand
ethical guidelines and standards.
Structure and style
This programme is structured as three 2-day modules and
one day of group practice and assessment.
The style is largely
experiential. The group works in coaching triads with coach,
coachee and observer. |
