Hellinger Constellations
“A Systemic Approach to Understanding the Dynamic of Organisations”
A complex and controversial model
and methodology that will help you understand the unconscious, energetic dynamics of groups.
A Unique Opportunity for You to:
- Learn from John’s coaching demonstration using the Hellinger Constellations approach.
- Extend your expertise with tools and tips from and expert practitioner.
- Revisit your coaching model and include some of these radical perspectives.
- Understand how this approach would fit in an organisational and leadership context.
Structure of The Masterclasses
The programme is divided into two parts.
Part 1: 9am – 1pm
John as Master Coach will:
- Outline his model and philosophical framework of practice
- Present case examples of client work
- Demonstrate his coaching practice and/or supervision with a participant as client
- Discuss and debate theoretical and practitioner issues
Part 2: 2 – 4.30pm
Peer Practice Groups
This is your opportunity, in a small peer group, to discuss the impact of John’s input on your own theoretical and philosophical approach.
There will then be time to practice coaching with some of the techniques and methodologies that have been illustrated by John.
Masterclass Subject
Bert Hellinger was initially a priest in South African tribal villages where he witnessed the impact of power, hierarchy, birthright and acknowledgement of position on a social system. He came back to Germany where he studied family therapy and Gestalt and began exploring how some of the tribal dynamics he had witnessed could be relevant to European families and organisations.
He has developed a controversial theory about the importance of recognizing hierarchy in today’s systems and how the disrespect for these ‘laws’ leads to dysfunctional organisations.
His methodology is equally controversial and implausible but time and time again it has proved to be very accurate and effective in bringing about insight and change to organizational systems.
In this Masterclass I will explain Hellinger’s complex but readily accessible theoretical model and its implications for families and organisations. We will then use one of the participant’s examples and I will demonstrate the methodology - a type of Group Sculpt that simply places participants in relationship to each other and then examines the somatic responses to their positions (don’t worry if this doesn’t make sense all will be explained).
You will find this Masterclass intriguing and unbelievable yet you won’t be able to deny the impact – bit like magic really!!
