AoEC Asia is dedicated to serving the needs of managers and organisations committed to creating value through unlocking human potentials. Sharon Thompson-Tan
Sharon has been a trusted, strategic thought partner, coach and mentor to many senior executives and leadership teams. Having personally worked in senior leadership positions in both Finance & Human Resources functions within global corporations, she understands first-hand how to strike the right balance between the competing demands of delivering results and developing leaders. She’s well-versed in facilitating systemic changes across multicultural, cross-functional organisations inclusively through shared leadership, co-creation, and fostering collaboration amongst stakeholders at various levels. Mark Powell
Seasoned leadership and performance consultant with a unique mix of experience – Australian with 19 years living and working across Asia; Corporate sector senior roles in Banking & Oil & Gas; Entrepreneur having started 4 businesses in 3 countries; Former International rugby referee; and strong supporter of diversity and inclusion. Mark works with senior regional and global leaders, and executive teams, helping them to transform themselves and their organisational performance. His portfolio includes C suite executive coaching, top team facilitation and supervision and development of other executive coaches. He joined the AoEC Asian faculty in 2017.
Rachel Ooi Coach
Rachel Ooi
Rachel is a versatile, prescient servant-leader who has devoted nearly 30 years of her professional life to lead and scale digital and sustainability innovation. She is recognised for her global thought leadership in these areas by Global Forbes Council and has authored Amazon #1 International Bestseller #unshaken in Digital Genesis https://t.ly/XS99R . She is an expert on pivoting enterprises in their emerging ecosystem, adding value in shifts, convergence, disruptions and integrations for growth (including M&As, Ventures). Rachel held global executives roles with P&L responsibilities, where she built and scaled consulting, marketing, and digital-deep tech global businesses with success as Chief Growth Officer at Dentsu APAC, MD at Accenture, GM at GE Digital; CMO at WPP and numerous other commercial leadership role with Deloitte , Ericsson, NXP and Syngenta. Certified Board Chair and ICF-PCC Systemic Change Coach, Rachel is privileged to have coached and mentored more than 100 CEOs/CXOs and senior executives on transitions, leadership transformations, and systemic change. She devotes her personal time on Impact Board Councils (HCSA Community Services, Law Society of Singapore, SRG, Regenesis) in shaping their policies, transforming cultures and developing stewardship in these communities. She has been honoured for her contribution as an Adjunct Associate Professor on her 3Ps expertise (People-Planet-Profit) by the Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore.
David Ng Coach
David Ng
David is a certified mentor and executive coach, chartered accountant, and consultant CFO with more than 30 years of broad industry and international exposure. His ongoing engagement as a CFO in start-ups and his research work allows him to draw on broad perspectives to engage on topics of leadership, network building, organisational development, strategy execution and operational efficiency. David gained rich experience through his global and regional leadership roles as senior executive, coach and advisor in challenging start-ups and respected MNCs. These roles were based out of Singapore, Hong Kong, London and Sydney, with a focus on Emerging Markets and Intellectual Property, in wide ranging industries namely Biotechnology, Pharma, Media, Consumer Products, Intellectual Property, Investment Banking, Consulting and Accountancy. Having coached senior executives for close to 15 years, David enjoys working alongside clients who seek to explore new possibilities in their performance mindset and outcomes. His experience in capital markets combined with a deep research ability enables him to serve in mentoring roles at various business accelerators as well as lecturing at business schools where he enjoys combining industry practice with peer-reviewed academic adventures.

Following illustrious careers with the last being an executive director, Soo Yee is a certified professional coach partnering C-Suite and senior executives to lead change, grow successful teams and thrive. She was the first Asian on ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Executive Board, where she led its business in Asia, the Americas, Europe, Middle East and UK, besides its digital transformation programme. Prior to ACCA, Soo Yee held senior leadership roles at AIA and Citibank, after starting her career in sales and marketing at Shell. COACHING APPROACH Soo Yee brings a unique blend of transformative coaching, agile and design thinking to support leaders and executives lead change and innovation, achieve breakthrough performance, elevate employee engagement and improve personal wellbeing. She has coached teams and senior executives around the world in organisations which includes BP, Deloitte, Nexia, Sephora and Qualcomm. Her areas of coaching: organisation transformation, innovation, culture agility, leadership, growing high performance team, wellbeing and career growth/transition.
