New Horizons:

Connecting Together for Professional Growth

On Friday 10 November 2023 we are delighted to offer two workshop events exclusively for AoEC Alumni.

Workshop 1 - Who's in the room?

Coach, author and AoEC Faculty Joan van den Brink PCC will run this 75 min workshop exploring how our identity affects how we feel and behave in different settings including coaching sessions. In this session you will explore how we identify ourselves and how that affects our sense of belonging.

Workshop 2 - Gestalt Coaching as a Relationship Dance

Coach, author, AoEC Founder and CEO John Leary-Joyce will lead this 75 min interactive workshop.

When we make an intervention we are leading the client, then follow their response with another leading intervention and so on - creating an improvised relationship ‘dance’. Research confirms that the quality of this coach/coachee relationship is the biggest single factor in mobilising change. Gestalt therefore, makes this dance the central focus of our practice. This short fun workshop will use body awareness and movement through the structure of Tango to build awareness of how to improve leading and following in your coaching relationships.
